Is the Canon EOS Rebel X Film a good camera?
I’m thinking in buying a used Canon EOS Rebel X Film Camera. But I’m not sure if it’s as good as everyone says.
I just need the basics about the camera. Battery life, megapixels, ect. If you have this camera let me know what you think. Is a good price for a used Canon EOS Rebel X camera??
The seller said it was in very good condition, but didn’t mention how old it was.

It depends on what youve heard. Its a nice 35mm film camera with A, P, S, A and M modes. No reason to think it wont provide good photos. If youve heard it has some magical powers to make every photo you take a masterpiece someones exaggerated.
Watch the price. A very good condition X body only is available used from B&H for $69

If youre buying from an auction or private party the price should be lower than a retailers price.
The Canon name is great, BUT that particular camera? You need a 10 day return privilege, to protect yourself. You don’t say who you are buying the camera from. If you do buy it,test it out from A-to-Z. And make an 11×14 ($4.00 at many 1 hr. labs) of your best subject, just to make sure the lens is sharp.
You realize of course, film is getting harder and harder to find, so weight that factor in also.
You also didn’t mention condition of camera and how much is being asked for it. I have a six year old digital camera, which I paid $700.00. I can’t find any selling at even a $100.00 today. I would try calling a camera shop (IF you can find one) and tell them you would like to trade "your" Canon EOS Rebel X film camera towards a digital. Take the amount they give you and double it to find a retail price. Or the top price your should pay for this camera.
Look up KEH Used Cameras, they have good prices and a return policy.
